Sophie Packham is a registered midwife and specialist tongue tie practitioner with over ten years of experience supporting families across Yorkshire, in both NHS and private settings. She holds a BSc in Midwifery Studies from the University of Bradford and has completed advanced postgraduate training in frenulotomy at the University of Hull. She is a full member of the Association of Tongue Tie Practitioners and is fully insured and NMC registered.
As a mother of three, Sophie understands first hand the emotions and challenges that can arise in the early weeks of feeding a new baby. That lived experience sits at the heart of how she works: with patience, specialist knowledge, and a genuine commitment to helping families feel confident and cared for, however they choose to feed.
At Wave Midwifery, Sophie brings particular depth to postnatal care and infant feeding support. Whether you are navigating the early days of breastfeeding, experiencing difficulties you can’t quite name, or simply want an expert pair of eyes, Sophie offers the kind of thorough, unhurried support that is so often hard to find.
